Introduction

The major livelihood concerns identified among many Filipino communities include poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment. These challenges are often linked to limited experience, technical skills, education, or practical knowledge needed to perform work correctly and effectively.

Many Filipinos, particularly those belonging to marginalized sectors, experience a scarcity of resources necessary to sustain suitable and stable living conditions.

There is therefore a need to provide affected individuals and households with sustainable programs that develop practical skills, technical knowledge, livelihood opportunities, and access to employment.
