Bantay Komunidad

Poverty, lack of education, drug or substance abuse, vices, crime, and unemployment are among the major issues caused by massive and chronic corruption and improper practices in government bureaucracy that continue to affect the country and the Filipino people. The formation of Bantay Komunidad is necessary as an implementing arm of One Movement and as a source of reliable and accurate information concerning security threats and corruption. Such information may serve as a reference for the government, especially in conducting thorough investigations against government officials who may have committed anomalous acts in government transactions. This supports the national campaign against corruption, including syndicated corrupt practices in line agencies and local government units. Bantay Komunidad also seeks to become an effective partner in maintaining peace and order in communities. Other pertinent and confidential matters may be performed by One Movement and its multi-sectoral alliances and Bantay Komunidad organizations nationwide.
